About Atrial Fibrillaiton
The most common form of heart arrythmia
Atrial Fibrillation (more commonly known as AFib) is a condition that causes irregular and rapid heartbeats. The two upper chambers (atria) of the heart beat rapidly. AFib patients are often unsuspecting victims of strokes and heart failure.
Thanks to one of our very own board members, Alexander Ong, for writing this informational piece about Afib and Cardiac Ablation!
Cardiac Ablation is a common medical procedure used to treat patients diagnosed with Afib.
To learn how and why it works, check "The Scientific Impact of Cardiac Ablation on Atrial Fibrillation", to the right. The full piece is attached below.
Thanks to our hardworking team of volunteers, we've compiled the key questions and facts you need to know about Atrial Fibrillation. Click on our our flyer (left) to see more!
